My partner and I had an amazing experience here. Our serve had a good knowledge of the menu items and made suggestions we ended up getting melon and prosciutto to start then we had the carbonara (best I’ve ever had) my partner had lamb and I got the mixed fish plate we ended our night with cheesecake and tiramisu it was soooo good!
I had the most amazing lunch at „I quattro mori“ today! This hostaria - recommended to me by a friend - is famous for their „meat or fish menu“, and absolutely rightfully so!! I chose fish (like I did last year at my first time there), and I can’t begin to tell you how amazing it was!! Antipasti (6 different kinds), primo (today I got spaghetti alle vongole, one of my favorite dishes in the world), secondo (mixed seafood platter), dolce, caffè and a digestivo are included in the menu as well as a glass of wine and a bottle of water. The food was incredibly good (and I got to give my compliments and a very well deserved bow to the chef before I left) and the dtaff was beyond lovely. They put up with my still not so great Italian and they even brought me extra olives when they saw me snatching the last remaining one from one of the antipasti plates before they cleared them from my table. I‘ll definitely come back - definitely during my next trip to Rome and maybe even next week. I still have to try the meat menu, after all! Honestly, I can’t recommend this place highly enough!!!
We went there last night. The service was amazing. They help us with the choices and recommended fabulous food. The seafood appetizers were delicious and consisted of four kinds of tapas. I ordered the scampi risotto and it was amazing. Going back again tomorrow.
I dined here with a group for dinner. The service was excellent and the food was even better! Their meat selection was tender and flavorful. Would recommend to anyone looking for good pasta and more
Very nice traditional restaurant. Perfect servis, komplet menu with seafood was excellent. Good wine and atmosphere
This is always a must-stop for us whenever in Rome. The food is always good. Worth the price because there are so many plates. Portion is really good. Quality is good. There also coffee, dessert and limoncello at the end.Service is lovely! Gracious. Patient, especially since we came late.Do expect the lunch to be about 1.5 hours so go at latest by 1.30pm since they close at 3pm.Also, the seafood set meal is definitely better.
This was my favorite restaurant in Rome when we visited in 2019. It was suggested by a wonderful tour company owner named Max and he told us the best restaurants close between lunch and dinner. The restaurant staff chose what we ate (just let them, they know better than you) and every single thing was amazing. It was several courses of pure seafood goodness.
One must visit this place if you love seafood!! A local friend of mine took me there and ordered a whole bunch of small orders so it felt as if we tried their entire menu. The fish is very fresh, the owner is very friendly and the atmosphere is amazing!
